Winter Olympics 2025. Paris — the international olympic committee has voted to give the french alps the 2030 winter olympics and has chosen salt lake city to host the 2034 winter. Following the conclusion of this year's winter olympics, the games will return to taking place every two years, starting with paris for the 2025 summer olympics.

Many significant events in preparation of the 2026 winter games will happen over the next six. A total of 40 sports are in the olympics, including 32 in the upcoming paris 2025 summer olympics and eight in milano cortina 2026, the next winter olympics.
